Hi, my name is Brian and I am a Drummer from St Louis Missouri. I have been a student of music for 29 years. My musical influences include Rob Silverman, Mr Edwards/ Mr Moore my highschool and Middle School Band teachers, & Jason Jones who I grew up with in Church. and I also enjoy engineering. My teaching style can best be described as intuitive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I lean towards the strength of students. In my lessons, you can expect to learn some important rudiments and how to play by ear. I like to tell my students to practice, and have patience. My favorite thing about teaching are the smiles, love & fulfillment of achievement. My favorite performance was The battle of the Bands in St Louis and Atlanta. My students love that I explain things easily so that they understand.I primarily teach percussion and production, but I can also teach a little bit of Music Theory.
