Colin has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums at the age of ten and continued his education by playing in school bands programs, playing locally and attending clinics and workshops. His musical influences include Pink Floyd, Rush, Tool, Tower of Power, Billy Cobham, Steve Gadd, Mike Mangini, Nate Smith, Benny Greb and Jimmy Chamberlin. Colin's favorite thing about music is the community it builds and his favorite thing about teaching music is sharing his love of it with people. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching group classes where we taught high school students how to start a band, learn and perform a set of music. When taking lessons with colin you can expect hands on experience in playing music and utilizing proper techniques and methods to achieving your goals on drums.
