I’m an elementary music teacher and classically trained soprano who loves helping people feel more confident using their voice. Singing can feel vulnerable and nerve-wracking, and I work to create a supportive, low-pressure space where students feel comfortable growing at their own pace. I earned my Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from West Virginia University in 2020 and spent several years with their Community Music Program teaching private voice lessons and directing the children’s choir. I’ve been teaching private voice for about five years now, have coached singers for local theatre productions, and love helping students feel prepared and confident going into auditions, or just when singing in the shower! These days, I teach elementary general music and chorus in Goochland County, Virginia, and perform with the Richmond Symphony Chorus. Whether you’re brand new to singing or preparing for an audition, my goal is for lessons to feel encouraging, productive, and genuinely exciting!
