My name is Zak, I am a multi instrumentalist from Saratoga Springs. I enjoy teaching people how to play because I feel that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn to play music. My approach to teaching is very hands on. I am a big advocate of call and response and improvisation.
Zak Y has over 7 years of music experience in the Saratoga Springs area.
Zak Y is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
I attended a few semesters of music at ACC, although never graduated.
Private Education:
I have taught myself music theory just by using the internet and sitting down on various instruments and figuring it out myself.
Performing Experience:
I have played with several bands around the area and have been performing for several years now. I also have gotten involved with a few open mics around here and accompanied very many different artists in an open mic "house band" situation
Experience Teaching:
I have taught quite a few people over the years in a non-formal setting and have had excellent results with everyone who was willing to apply themselves.
