About Me

I am a passionate, experienced, and patient music instructor offering private recording arts lessons. I teach students at all levels—beginner to advanced—and work with children, teens, and adults. Each lesson is tailored to the student's goals, interests, and learning style. My love for music began at age 7, learning from my DJ father. Through practice, ensembles, and studio sessions, I developed my skills and recently earned an A.A. in music from St. Petersburg College. Sharing my passion helps students grow in confidence and ability. Drawing from my influences—Hip Hop, R&B, and Pop—I introduce students to a variety of styles while emphasizing fundamentals such as technique, rhythm, tone, and expression. My approach is supportive, flexible, and student-centered. I believe private lessons should be enjoyable and challenging, fostering a positive, motivating environment for improvement. My experience includes play camps, volunteer work, and college mentoring. I enjoy working one-on-one to help students reach personal goals, whether playing for fun, performing, or preparing for auditions. I use a combination of the Master-Apprentice method, where students learn through example and mentorship, and the Technology-Based Creation Method, which incorporates modern recording tools and software into lessons. I focus on hands-on projects, guided practice, and real-world applications, adapting lesson materials and pacing to fit each student's individual needs and learning style. Music has always been central to my life and to my family's legacy.
