Maurice has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums at the age of 8 and continued his education studying voice in high school, and sound recording technology in college. His musical influences include The Beatles, My Chemical Romance, Anderson .Paak, Smino, Kehlani. Maurice's favorite thing about music is that it can me used as an outlet to express and process emotion, and his favorite thing about teaching music is when everything first starts to click and the sense of accomplishment that comes with that. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when he worked at a Youth Center Studio and one of the youth wanted to learn how to make and host a podcast.
