I am a lifelong vocalist and musician with over ten years of instrumental experience and a strong background in live performance. I sang in choir from fifth grade through my senior year and have performed at numerous public events, including National Anthem performances for baseball games and JROTC ceremonies. I began performing at a young age and went on to serve as a worship leader throughout junior high and high school, developing both vocal skill and leadership on stage. Through School of Rock, I became the lead singer for multiple bands and regularly performed at live venues, including bars and community events. In August 2023, I was selected as one of ten vocalists chosen to open for the bands Loverboy and Foreigner in the The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, in The Woodlands. These experiences gave me extensive exposure to ensemble singing, solo performance, and professional stage environments. I am a natural musician with near-perfect pitch and an intuitive understanding of vocal technique. While my personal musical style leans toward indie, indie punk, and rock, I am comfortable singing and teaching across all genres. My teaching style is metaphor-based and visualization-driven, helping students clearly understand breath use, sound shaping, and vocal control. I prioritize healthy technique, measurable improvement, and building confidence so students feel capable and expressive in their voice.
