Music has always been my calling, but it has also been my teacher. Through it, I’ve learned that creativity thrives on curiosity, structure, and the courage to explore diverse experiences. A life spent fully immersed in music has helped me to remain infinitely curious, and this curiosity fuels my desire to be a lifelong learner. Each minute spent with my instrument is an opportunity to quiet the noise, listen to my body and my instrument, and practice focused attention. What does the music need? How can my approach expand and shift? How can my foundational skills support my creative exploration? These are the questions I seek to answer daily, and these are the types of questions among many others I encourage my students to ask themselves.
