Songwriting with me is less about chasing perfection and more about telling the truth. You can expect a safe, encouraging space where we focus on clarity, emotional depth, and intention with introspection. Whether you’re writing from heartbreak, faith, healing, or the in-between. I care deeply about why a line exists and the story it tells, not just how it sounds. We’ll work on lyric structure, imagery, storytelling, and melodic instinct, but we’ll also talk about identity, creative blocks, and learning how to trust your voice. I believe great songs come from self-awareness, patience, and honesty. Whether you’re brand new or refining your craft, expect thoughtful feedback, gentle guidance and challenge, and a whole lot of heart!

Students can expect a patient, encouraging, and supportive learning environment where progress is celebrated at every stage. I understand how difficult lessons can be when practice throughout the week wasn't the best or there wasn't enough time to dedicate to practicing. My lessons will focus on building strong foundational skills within a thorough understanding of the basics, dynamics, reading sheet music, and improving sight reading. We will also create space for creativity and emotional expression through the music. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, helping beginners and children grow in confidence as they develop both technical ability and a genuine love for playing the piano.
