About Me

I am a dedicated vocal coach, educator, and performer with over 15 years of experience teaching voice and more than 30 years of singing and performing experience. I have worked with solo artists and vocal groups throughout the Philadelphia tri-state area as well as Atlanta, helping singers build strong technique, confidence, and musical understanding. I owned and operated my own music school for four years, where I developed curriculum, coached students across skill levels, and led both individual and group instruction. This experience strengthened my ability to design structured yet flexible lesson plans that support long-term vocal growth. My teaching approach is rooted in healthy vocal technique, including breath support, tone clarity, vocal placement, and consistency across range. I tailor each lesson to the individual voice, goals, and learning style of my students, creating a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes steady growth and confidence. I specialize in vocal harmony, training singers to blend, balance, and lock into parts with precision. This has been especially impactful in my work with church choirs, praise teams, and group ensembles. I have also served as a music director for praise teams, guiding vocalists in both rehearsal and live performance settings. In addition to my vocal coaching experience, I bring over 18 years of experience in childcare, which allows me to work effectively with singers of all ages. I teach voice to students ages 2 and up, using patient, age-appropriate methods that support both early development and advanced vocal refinement. My primary genres include R&B, soul, gospel, and pop music, and I am passionate about helping singers develop not only strong technique, but also confidence, discipline, and authentic expression.

Voice lessons provide a supportive and focused environment tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Over the years, I have continued to perform and have shared the stage with notable artists, gaining valuable insight into professional-level musicianship and performance standards. I also completed artist development training, which equipped me with the skills needed to perform with confidence, professionalism, and consistency. This background allows me not only to excel on stage, but also to train and prepare other artists and singers to be performance-ready—focusing on stage presence, vocal delivery, confidence, and professionalism in live settings.
