About Me

I have extensive experience teaching and mentoring students in a music education setting. After graduating high school, I spent four years teaching front ensemble and drumline at Dunedin High School in Dunedin, Florida. In this role, I worked closely with students of varying skill levels, helping them develop strong technical foundations, ensemble skills, and a deeper appreciation for music and performance. I also collaborated with other instructors to support a positive, disciplined, and motivating rehearsal environment. I am a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in drums, guitar, and piano. Drums are my strongest instrument, as I have been playing since fifth grade. Throughout middle and high school, I was actively involved in all-county and all-state concert and jazz bands, which provided me with a strong background in music theory, ensemble performance, and musical discipline. These experiences continue to influence my teaching approach and passion for student growth. I am enthusiastic about bringing my experience, patience, and love for music into the classroom. I value creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn, explore, and express themselves through music.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s experience level, drawing from my background as a multi-instrumentalist and educator to help students grow in technique, ensemble awareness, and musical expression. Above all, I strive to make learning music engaging and rewarding while encouraging creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
