About Me

Hi, my name is Lindy, and I am a soprano and pianist from Ohio. I am currently a music student at Wright State University, pursuing a double major in Vocal Music Education and Piano Performance. I teach students of various ages and experience levels, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual goals and interests. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and flexible. I believe that every student learns differently, so I begin lessons by getting to know each student’s goals: whether that is building strong fundamentals, preparing for performances, or simply enjoying music with confidence. My voice teaching is grounded primarily in classical technique, with an emphasis on healthy vocal production and long-term vocal development. I also encourage students to explore a variety of genres, including art song, musical theatre, and contemporary styles, so they can develop versatility and confidence in their voice. In piano lessons, I focus on strong fundamentals such as technique, music reading, and effective practice habits. I believe it is important for students to study repertoire from many different musical eras and cultures to develop well-rounded musicianship and a deeper understanding of music.
