About Me

Hi, my name is Terrence and I am a multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include Jazz, R&B, Funk, Gospel, Fusion and I also enjoy styles like Folk, Bluegrass, Blues. My teaching style can best be described as fun and creative but requires consistencyand hard work. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that If you think it, you can play it. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to play your instrumentlike the musicians you look up too, along with eroy and historyas well.. I like to tell my students the only limits are the ones you place on yourself. My favorite thing about teaching is taking part and witnessing the progress of my students. My students love that I take my time to really explain concepts that we go over and I ultimatelygo at the speed of the stude t. I primarily teach drums and bass, but I can also teach all percussion including piano, and guitat as well. My job as a teacher is to see the student reachtheir goals.
