Jonathan began playing drums and piano at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by majoring in Music Education at Kansas State University. He gained performance experience in the Music area by playing at such venues as McCain Auditorium in Manahattan, Kansas. Though Jonathan can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are gospel and jazz which had great influence on his style of playing.
