I have taught guitar for 15 years in my home recording studio, students' homes and major music retailers including Sam Ash music, The Music Corner, and Seminole Music. I used to work at Guitar Center. I taught piano lessons in home with Aladdin Piano. I teach all styles. I can read Standard Notation, Tablature, and chord charts. I have taught children, teens, and adults. I can play Piano, Banjo, Dobro, Irish Bouzouki and Mandolin, but I only teach Guitar now.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I ask students what they want to learn, Please make a list of what styles and songs and bands you want to study. Each lesson we first review your homework assignment to see how you are progressing. I offer a positive critique. Next we work on new material. The last 5 minutes is to summarize what was taught at the lesson and I assign homework for the next lesson. All lessons are presented at your own pace. Some students can only practice 3 times a week and some everyday.

I studied with LA session guitarist and MI instructor Ted Shumate. (His Cd's are on You Tube.)

Clubs/Bars; County Fairs: Weddings: Coffee Shops; Churches I played at Tampa Theater with John Lamb (Duke Ellington's bass player} I have sat in with Swing Bands.
