Hi, my name is Krys and I am a musician from Brooklyn, NY. I have been a student of music for 16 years. I have been playing in NYC rock bands for the last 4 years and recently released my first album. My musical influences include Rise Against, Metallica, The Beatles, Disturbed, etc. My teaching style can best be described as chill and slow. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want to give you tools you can reuse for many tasks. In my lessons, you can expect to learn rhythm, basic theory, and how to approach learning new songs. I like to tell my students everything is connected. My students love that I am patient and easy to talk to. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach bass and songwriting. My approach as a teacher is to give you the foundation to succeed.
