Hi, my name is Oscar and I am an aspiring musician from Louisiana. I have been a student of music for 5 years. My musical influences include Dream Theater, Polyphia, Avenged Sevenfold, and many more. My teaching style can best be described as focused on technique and proficiency. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe anyone can reach their goals as an artist if they try. In my lessons, you can expect to learn about the basics, how to get started on the instrument without having any prior experience, and day to day exercises to keep you motivated. I like to tell my students to always keep trying their best and to never give in to frustration as it's only temporary. I primarily teach how to improve on technique, sight reading, and improvisation, but I can also teach different genres of music you want to learn.
