Greetings, my name is Jhayden, I am a recent Music Education graduate from Bethune Cookman university, and I from Ocala, Fl. I have been an avid musician for as long as I can remember. My love for music is influenced by things like broadway, gospel, jazz, and opera. My teaching style can best be described as flexible as every student learns differently. As for my teaching philosophy one could say that I believe students are most successful when practicing holistic development through music, which connects and supports real world issues. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper breathing and vocal technique. Little things like posture have big impacts on vocal ability. By solidifying fundamentals in technique the student will be able to soar and expand far beyond expectations. I like to tell my students having talent is a waste without intentional and consistent practices. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth of a student and watch as they begin to find their zone. I primarily teach vocals, but I can also teach brass and woodwind instruments.
