He received his formal training at the Conservatory Amadeo Roldán in Havana, Cuba, earning a degree in Saxophone and Music Education with a concentration in Film Scoring and Composition. Rolando teaches saxophone at all levels, as well as piano, clarinet, and flute up to the intermediate level. Known for his patience and thoughtful teaching style, he focuses on strong fundamentals while helping students connect music to creativity, confidence, and personal expression.
