Jesse C.

Jesse is a music educator and performer with a passion for helping students discover their musical voice. He currently performs as the baritone saxophonist for The Woodlands Concert Band, and teaches a wide range of beginner and intermediate students on saxophone, clarinet, and trumpet. He is a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University, earning his Bachelor of Music-Concentration in Instrumental Music Education EC-12 with Magna Cum Laude honors. During his time at SHSU, he served as the Principal Saxophonist for the university's Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Symphony Orchestra, and was regularly recognized on the President's and Dean's Lists for his academic and musical excellence. As a middle school band director, Jesse has guided ensembles to successful performance at UIL evaluations, prepared students for Region Band auditions, and provided individualized instruction that fosters growth, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Jesse is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all learners, whether they are beginning their musical journey or preparing for auditions and performances.
