I am a professional musician with more than twenty years of sustained experience in music performance, touring, pedagogy, production, audio engineering, composition, recording, and music publishing. My early musical training was shaped at the world-renowned Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington, an institution internationally recognized for its historical contributions to jazz and contemporary music education. In recognition of my musical aptitude and academic potential, I was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music. In 2005, I formally enrolled at Berklee, where I pursued a Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies. My primary area of concentration was drums and percussion, with coursework emphasizing technical proficiency, stylistic versatility, ensemble performance, and contemporary music practices.
