Ananda began playing piano at the age of 8. Over the years, she developed her skills further by playing throughout her high school career as well as a little bit in college. She gained performance experience in musical theater and jazz by playing at venues in community theaters and local performances. Though Ananda can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical, jazz, and contemporary, which had a great influence on her style of playing. Ananda loves music because she grew up playing, and loves teaching music because sharing the music she loves helps others find joy in it as well.
