Hi! I’m Colby. I’m a musician, producer, and sound designer who loves helping people turn ideas into music they’re proud of. I work across a lot of styles—rock, post-punk, psychedelic, and experimental music—and I’m active both as a performer and behind the scenes as a producer and engineer. I play multiple instruments and focus a lot on songwriting, recording, and production, whether that’s working in a studio or creating music at home. I believe learning music should feel creative, encouraging, and fun—not intimidating—so I always meet students where they’re at, no matter their age or experience level. In lessons, we’ll explore how music actually works in real life: how to play, write, record, and shape sounds in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether your goal is to learn an instrument, produce your own songs, or just understand music better, I’m here to help you build confidence and find your own voice. I’m excited to make music with you.
