Hi! My name is John and I've been playing guitar since I was a young boy. My father had a Fender dreadnought that he kept in his closet, and it nagged at me every time I'd see it. When I was five years old he decided to give it to me. At first, I learned everything I could with the internet. Eventually I started taking lessons. Once I started them my musical momentum picked right up. And that's how started teaching others how to play when I was in 4th grade. Another boy at my school wanted to learn how to play, but his family couldn't afford lessons. Our music teacher asked if I'd help out, and being as flattered as I was, I did. Once I was in high school I played for the jazz band and started developing my own projects as well. I helped to teach the guitar class we had at my school and continued studying music and songwriting in my free time. After high school I continued to play and study. I've helped both friends and strangers learn to the guitar and hope to continue to do it for many years to come.
