20 Years
Sean has been passionate about music from an early age, beginning his drumming journey at just eight years old. He went on to study percussion through middle and high school, performing in multiple ensembles and band programs. Sean also marched with Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps and currently performs regularly with a local cover band throughout the Upstate. His musical influences include Rush, Polyphia, Phil Collins, and Bill Withers. Sean believes in the power of music to bring people together, and he finds the greatest fulfillment in teaching when his students reach new milestones. One of his most rewarding experiences was helping a student master a challenging song beyond their current skill level, ultimately leading to a successful performance at a local ensemble audition. In lessons with Sean, students can expect a fun, encouraging, and goal-focused environment. He takes the time to understand each student’s interests, learning style, and musical goals to create a personalized approach. Book a lesson today and get started right away.
