I’ve been passionate about music since I picked up an instrument at age eleven. I attended a Fine Arts Magnet High School where orchestra and music theory were at the core of my education-I’ve performed playing violin, viola and cello and I continued performing as a violist at Georgia Southern University. Currently, I’m an active member of the Lawrenceville Symphony Orchestra, and I’ve also performed with the Clayton County All-County Orchestra and the Atlanta Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra. I specialize in violin, viola, and cello and beginner bass. What really excites me, though, is teaching. Over the past few years, I've sought to grow my reach in private lessons and I’ve found that helping students connect with music is incredibly rewarding. I focus on making music theory accessible and practical rather than something students just memorize and forget. I love seeing that moment when a concept clicks and a student realizes they can actually this!
