Ian began playing guitar at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further by taking private lessons then eventually getting a Bachelors Degreein Music. He gained performance experience in the Philadelphia area by playing at such venues as The TLA and The Trocadero with acts such as Monte Carlo and Animal House. Though Ian can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Jimi Hendrix, Scott Henderson, Allan Holdsworth, which had great influence on his style of playing.Ian loves music because it is a fun way to express oneself and loves teaching music because it is very fulfilling.
