Hi, my name is Rick and I am a Guitarist from South Philly. I have been a student of music for over 20 years. My musical influences include Blues, Rock, Alternative, Top 40s, Funk, and new wave. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I push my students to begin playing songs and artists they are truly interested in as quickly as possible. Playing an instrument can be extremely frustrating at first, and its important to balance scales and drills with that feeling of being able to play a new song you struggled with before.
