Sergio has revolved his world to music since he was a child, constantly involving himself as a vocalist in musical theater productions, Operatic performances, and Gospel choirs throughout his adolescent and early adult life. Sergio has experience in musical theory and sight singing; he worked for the Grammys in 2020 as an ensemble vocalist during their live shows and studio recording. As a practicing instructor, Sergio has coached a handful of adult and teenage clients, mainly on the importance of breath work, vocal exercises to lessen jaw strain, and emotional regulation during performances. Sergio is eager to teach newer generations of singers and artists, hoping for them to capture a similar love for vocal performance like he has. Music theory is a vital instructional tool used to guide students through melodies in music. Sergio’s keen eye is able to analyze and teach sheet music from all ranges of the vocal spectrum, and is ready to provide a lesson plan catered to assisting younger students in an educational, artistic manner.
