John began playing piano at the age of three and guitar at 16. Over the years, he developed his skills further by recording with bands. He gained performance experience in the Jonesboro area by playing at such venues as Brickhouse, Skinny J’s, J Town and with acts such as The Brothers. Though John can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are country, blues, rock n roll and jazz which had great influence on his style of playing.
