Hello! I’m an experienced drummer and percussionist who loves teaching and helping students grow. I've played drum set and orchestral percussion since I was 10 years old (I'm 22 now), and have experience across many musical styles, including rock, jazz, pop, and classical. My lessons are personalized, fun, and flexible for all ages and levels of experience, focused on building strong fundamentals while exploring the music you’re excited about. Excited to play with you!

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
My four main developmental areas for aspiring drummers are Technique/Control, Vocabulary, Repertoire, and Musicality. Our first lesson together will be spent determining your current skill level and goals for our lessons together. After, I will create a personalized lesson plan to most suitably fit your needs. For technique and rudimental vocabulary, I prefer to use Joe Morello's instructional books Master Studies and Rudimental Jazz. To develop musicality and repertoire, we will learn songs together in the genre of your choice while adding your own personal touch!
Formal Education:
I have a B.A. in Music from Southern Connecticut State University, with a focus on drum set performance.
Private Education:
I've had private instruction from multiple professional and award-winning drummers for about 8 years. Notable instructors include Ryan Sands and Dr. Anthony DeQuattro. I've also had instruction in guitar, piano, and music technology to broaden my overall musicality.
Performing Experience:
I've been performing as long as I've been playing. Starting with school ensembles and pit orchestras, followed by forming multiple bands in high school. In college, I played over 100+ gigs around Connecticut with multiple rock, jazz, and orchestral groups. Notable venues I've performed at include Toad's Place, Cafe Nine, and the SCSU Ballroom.
Experience Teaching:
I've given private instruction to a few aspiring drummers, and I'm eager to take on new students! I also often post educational drum content on my Instagram page, where I share the exercises I'm using to develop my skills and encourage others to do the same!
