About Me

Isaiah began playing the trumpet and guitar at the age of 9. His mother told him that for every rock-n-roll instrument he played, she required him to learn one classical instrument. Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending music academies, play in bands, and playing trumpet in the university symphony. He gained performance experience in the Texas area by playing at venues such as The Rail Yard, Green Jacket, Tap House, Woodshed, and with acts such as Who's Oscar, NLN, and substituting in for bands like Shotgun Josephine and The Afterglow. Though Isaiah can teach many different genres of music, his personal favorites are Blues and Southern Rock, which had a great influence on his style of playing. Isaiah loves music because it brings people together and loves teaching music because of how individuals make the music their own as they grow their talents. Whether you are a beginner or have learned how to play a couple of chords, Isaiah can help you expand and enhance your playing. Teaching music to the local community has been part of my life everywhere I've traveled. I taught for TRMC before I moved to Mississippi, and I continued to teach when I was there. Now that I am back in Texas, began to entertain and teach those who benefit from a lesson plan that is tailored to their learning style.
