Asher has always loved music from an early age. He began playing Bass at the age of 16 and continued his education by playing shows and taking private lessons from Felix Pastorius, Bubby Lewis Snoop Dog and Kevin Scott Warren Haynes, Wayne Krantz, John Mclaughlin. His musical influences include Pino Palladino, Thundercat, Tim Lefebvre. Asher's favorite thing about music is to create beauty and his favorite thing about teaching music is watching the aha moment happen in the lesson. One of his favorite teaching experiences was explaining how 2 3 4 major progressions don't require playing over the one chord and can create something more special.
