About Me
I began playing percussion at the age of 15 and have nearly 30 years of performance experience. During my school years, I served as drum captain my junior year and drum major my senior year. I have performed in concert and orchestral ensembles, played in two Christian rock bands, and been involved in multiple praise and worship bands. I graduated from Liberty University’s School of Music with a B.S. in Worship Studies. I currently serve as the percussion instructor and assistant band director at Pantego Christian Academy and have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring multiple students over the years.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect lessons that are encouraging, structured, and rooted in real-world musical experience. Drawing from nearly 30 years of playing percussion across concert, orchestral, marching, and worship settings, my lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, musicality, and confidence. I tailor instruction to each student’s skill level and goals, whether they are just starting out or looking to grow as an ensemble musician or worship band player. Students will be challenged, supported, and equipped not only to play their instrument well, but to understand their role as musicians and leaders.
