Hi everyone! I’m Victoria, and I’m so excited to make music with you this year! I’m a doctoral candidate in Music Education with over 15 years of teaching and performance experience, and music has truly been my whole life. I’m a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, specializing in voice, piano, French horn, and trumpet, and I’ve performed and taught in everything from concert choirs and bands to full-scale musical theatre productions. Musical theatre is one of my biggest passions — I love helping students bring storytelling, acting, and singing together to create powerful performances. Whether we’re preparing a Broadway-style number, a concert piece, or an audition solo, I focus on helping every student feel confident, expressive, and proud of their work. I’ve had the privilege of preparing students for district level festivals, All-County and All-State ensembles, major performances, and even professional-level opportunities, and nothing makes me happier than watching my students succeed on stage. One thing that’s especially important to me is that every child feels welcome and capable in music. I specialize in working with students on the autism spectrum and diverse learners, and I believe music should be accessible, joyful, and empowering for everyone. In my classroom, you can expect: Lots of energy. Creativity and movement. Hands-on music making. A safe, supportive environment. And plenty of chances to shine. I truly believe music builds confidence, community, and lifelong skills — and I can’t wait to make amazing music together!
