Hi, my name is Sarah and I started playing guitar when I was a young child. Eventually went to music school and received my BA and MA in classical guitar performance from Manhattan School of Music. I freelanced as a professional musician for a few years in the New York area and finally fell into teaching through the famous Boys Choir of Harlem where I learned the skills of teaching classroom and tailoring curriculum to inspire the student. I have a deep understanding of pedagogy of the guitar and can make lessons fun and enjoyable as well developing solid foundation and technique.
