Born and raised in Broward county, Jake has always grown up with music. He was a music student since he was 7 years old and has been playing percussion instruments since then. He has experience on a kit with rock, jazz, metal, etc. He also did marching band for 5 years playing the tenor drums and bass drum. He’s marched in indoor percussion groups as well as a drum corps group.
Jake L. has over 16 years of music experience in the Port St. Lucie area.
Jake L. is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
4 years at Saint Lucie West Centennial High School. All in band classes, 3 years in jazz classes.
Private Education:
16 years learning various percussion instruments from orchestral percussion to marching and things in between.
Performing Experience:
Performing on percussion instruments for 14 years privately and publicly. Small stages and large alike.
Experience Teaching:
I have 3 years of experience in private teaching. This ranges from the basics all the way to playing through grade 5-6 solo pieces.
