I have performed vocally for many years both publicly and in churches during and after college. I have taught in public and private schools and led children's and adult choirs. I've been involved in directing musical performances and concerts. I am interested in teaching anyone who would like to learn how to sing or to play piano. I'm interested primarily in teaching beginners in both voice and piano.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

I desire to teach beginning and intermediate piano lessons to encourage and inspire skill building foundations for the enjoyment of both playing and creating music through practice of correct piano posture, hand and finger positions, note-reading, eartraining, and creative exercises.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

I prefer to teach beginning students for voice to teach good vocal and breathing technique and vocal care. I like to promote vocal skills that would be beneficial for most styles. My greatest desire is for my students to discover the enjoyment of singing and their potential. I will take intermediate students with some experience.
