About Me
Music has been at the center of my life for over a decade—as a songwriter, producer, recording engineer, and creative leader. I hold an Associate of Science degree in Music Production Technology and have spent years applying that education in real studio and live environments, not just classrooms or theory. I currently serve as a Creative Arts and Production Director, where I lead musicians, producers, engineers, and creatives while staying hands-on with songwriting, recording, mixing, and producing. I’ve worked closely with artists and bands to develop songs from the ground up, shape arrangements, and create recordings that communicate clearly and connect emotionally. As an instructor, my passion is helping students understand the “why” behind the music. Whether we’re writing songs, recording vocals, or producing tracks, I focus on practical skills that translate directly to real music creation. My teaching style is encouraging, structured, and adaptable, helping students grow creatively, technically, and confidently at any level.

What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

In my recording engineering and producing lessons, students can expect a hands-on, practical approach focused on creating professional-quality music in real-world environments. We focus on capturing great performances, not just learning software. Students will learn how to set up recording sessions, record vocals and instruments cleanly, understand signal flow and gain staging, and use DAWs effectively for recording, editing, and production. We also explore how producers think creatively and technically to shape songs from idea to finished demo. Lessons are customized to your experience level and goals, whether you’re building a home studio foundation or refining your production workflow.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

In my songwriting lessons, students can expect a practical, encouraging, and creative approach to writing music. We focus on more than just finishing songs—I help students understand why songs work, how to strengthen ideas, and how to turn inspiration into complete, confident compositions. Students will learn how to develop strong song ideas, write meaningful lyrics, create memorable melodies, and structure songs with clarity and intention. We also explore arrangement choices and how songwriting connects with production decisions. Lessons are tailored to each student’s experience level and goals, whether you’re writing your first song or refining material you’ve already started. My goal is to give students tools they can actually use so they leave with greater confidence and progress in their songwriting.
