About Me

Hi! My name is Julia and I am a music teacher in the greater Boston area. I began my musical journey in sixth grade when I began trombone and voice instruction. I was born and raised in MA and played trombone through high school in local groups such as BYSO and MYWE. I continued my trombone studies into college where I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Miami, where I also studied voice. I returned back to MA and taught for a few years elementary general music. I have my own children now so I do more part time music work, but still love doing it! I assistant direct a children’s choir and Groton Hill Music Center and teach classes for kids 4-7 at the School of Rock in Burlington, MA.
