About Me
I am a Tulsa based vocalist, performer, and music mentor with a passion for helping people discover their authentic voice. With years of live performance experience across bands, acoustic shows, karaoke entertainment, and vocal coaching, I blend real-world stage knowledge with supportive, confidence-building instruction. I specialize in vocal coaching, performance confidence, stage presence, and helping beginners feel comfortable expressing themselves through music. My teaching style is encouraging, practical, and personalized-whether you're preparing for your first performance, refining technique, or simply singing for joy! I believe everyone can sing and music should be accessible, healing, and empowering at every age. I love helping students grow both musically and personally.

Melissa M. is proficient in and teaches Vocal Lessons .Formal Education:
Instrumental Concert Music and Marching Band training through school band programs from 1. Clarinet primary instrument-NBDA All District Honor Band participant 1998, multiple superior ratings (1s) in solo and ensemble performances, frequent first-chair placement.
Private Education:
Ongoing vocal study, performance coaching, and professional development built on a strong foundation of formal instrumental training, continued instrument training in guitar, bass and saxophone, and years of live performance experience.
Performing Experience:
Professional vocalist and multi-instrumentalist performing regularly in Tulsa area venues through live band shows, acoustic performances, karaoke entertainment, and special events. In addition to voice, I play beginner guitar, saxophone, and bass. I've performed saxophone professionally in ensemble settings using arranged charts and sheet music, with occasional instrumental features during live gigs. My primary focus remains vocal performance and coaching.
