About Me

I have always loved music from an early age. I began playing in band in the 6th grade and moved on to orchestra in the 8th grade. I continued my education by currently playing in the rose state college orchestra. My musical influences include anything, really. I know a lot of people claim to listen to everything but I mean it. You name a genre, and I have a playlist for it! My favorite thing about music is how people in a room can listen to the same song, but each person will experience the song differently. My favorite thing about teaching music is showing others the hidden complexities of music. One of my. favorite teaching experiences was volunteering to be my orchestra director’s assistant and helping all of my underclassmen.
