Honestly, I’m not special. In fact in my life there have been many failures and missed opportunities and I’ve cheated myself many times. But through persistence and a commitment to personal improvement, I can say that I’ve never been better then I am right now, and learning music theory and learning to play a musical instrument has been crucial to that development. The very same principles we use to learn and develop musical skills are the same principles we need to learn anything and that’s what is great about learning and teaching music.
