Dan  began playing Guitar at the age of 9. Over the years, he developed his skills further by Gaining a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance and a Minor in Classical Guitar and Theory from the World renowned University of North Texas, Working in the Studio, Live and as Composer/Producer with Artists and Companies like Norah Jones, Jeff Coffin, The Jordanaire's, Lars Ulrich from Metallica, Resse WynansStevie Ray Vaughn, Peter Cetera, CMT/MTV, Tennessee Lottery, Miss America, Hulk Hogan and countless others as well as teaching at Music Stores like Mars Music, Corner Music, World Music and taught as clinician at Camps like Guitar Workshop Plus and Southern Girls Rock Camp. Dan has traveled around the world with his music and was musical director for Cruize Ships for 4 years on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Though Dan can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Mike Stern, Sonny Rollins, JS Bach and Andy Timmons which had great influence on his style of playing.Dan  loves music because *it expresses the Soul and the Gift of Creation and loves teaching music because It's a Gift I love to share.
