Kammy has always loved music from an early age. She began playing guitar at the age of 7 and continued her education by playing in school and community jazz bands. Her musical influences include Wes Montgomery, Jeff Beck, and Stevie Wonder. Kammy's favorite thing about music is the many many things one can do when making it and her favorite thing about teaching music is getting to show other people how to make the magic themselves. One of her favorite teaching experiences was preparing a student for a musical theater audition showing her all the cool phrases to sing with her specific audition song.
