Hi! My name is Mica, I’m a musician and vocalist native to San Diego! I have been songwriting and performing since the age of 12 and have recently earned my Bachelor’s of Music in Film and Media Scoring from Berklee College of Music! In between, I have played shows around San Diego as well as releasing two original albums! I would describe my style as R&B/pop-and my strengths are in my vocal runs and unique interpretations. I began teaching vocal lessons about 4 years ago, and always approach my lessons with a deep understanding of vocal pedagogy, confidence building, and stage presence. I encourage my students to find their own unique sound through creative and skill building exercises. I aim to create comfortable learning environments that allow students to be vulnerable and try new things. I have most experience in teaching younger musicians, but have taught adults in the past too! I love teaching voice lessons as well as songwriting and production!
