What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Learning basic music theory and how to read guitar sheet music (unless student is already knowledgeable), classical guitar right hand technique (p, i, m, a), single string melodies, open chords (G, C, D, Am, Em, etc).
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
- Intermediate
Material will depend on the student's interests, combined with some pre-selected pieces/songs provided by the instructor that have pedagogical value (common strumming/plucking patterns and chord progressions, left hand techniques like slurs, glissandi, etc, melody and bass line independence).
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
- - Advanced
Primarily directed by the student in conversation with the instructor, focusing on what areas the student would like to improve in.
