David T.

David Dave is a musician, teacher, composer and performer. He was introduced to music at the age of 6 years old by learning to play the French Horn. Dave studied and played the French Horn for 12 years until 1976. Dave was taught music under the direction of Dr. Anton F. Kiehner, Professor of Music, of Berwyn Pennsylvania. Dave was chosen as 1st French Hornist during his Junior High and Senior High School Orchestra and Concert Band performances in the 70's. Dave played the Eb Alto horn in the Conestoga High School Marching Band. He earned several musical awards along the course of his musical education. Dave began studying and playing the guitar at age 12 and the piano at age 14. All the while, Dave continued to study music theory. Dave was influenced with the guitar styles of Artist Eric Clapton and Piano styles of Artist Elton John in the 1970's. He was personally taught guitar by Mike Sembello, the now famed composer of the song, "Maniac" written for the soundtrack of the movie "Flashdance". Dave's first guitar was a Gibson Melody Maker for which he would play to no end as he took guitar lessons at the Troubadour Music Shop in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Dave took three months of classical piano lesson during High School. He then continued studying the piano on his own. Dave would then play in numerous style bands for dances and public appearances. In 1, during his four college years at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, Dave was elected General Manager for WFIT 89.5 FM as he completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in1980. As a weekly WFIT radio Disc Jockey while attending college, Dave interviewed the likes of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Buddy Rich and Maynard Ferguson. Dave presently teaches guitar, piano and vocal lessons in his recording studio, located in Palm Bay, Florida. Dave is now known as Uncle Dave to his students. Dave teaches all ages and is skilled at teaching challenged students with a disability. Dave performs a solo music act at local establishments, and also performs in a local nursing home to comfort the patients with an hour of music. Presently, Dave is working on his original music to be released in 2026. In conclusion, Uncle Dave's vocals have an auditory sensation of different artists such as Kenny Rogers, and Ken Block of Sister Hazel, yet having his own quality of tone and timbre of raspiness. Dave teaches his own wisdom of musical styles and performs his own soulful depth to the spirit of music lovers everywhere.
