About Me

Hello potential friends and guitar proteges ! I have been teaching and professionally performing Americana guitar styles for 22 years. I teach a style of both technical fingerboard and scale proficiency as well as sight - reading music and a finger picking approach to the guitar both acoustic and Electric. The Styles associated with my ability to teach are jazz, blues, gypsy jazz, Bluegrass Country Western, swing. The two late masters that I learned from were Tommy cook in Tulsa Oklahoma and John Heter. While I am capable of teaching introductory singing accompianment, I can be a positve step to vocal referrals found on the TR platform

Coming to a session with me is like coming to the Joy at learning your next favorite song ! I blend both technical proficiency along with always keeping my favorite song on the lesson plan. After all if one is not blending their passion enjoy at the feeling of playing their favorite songs with the technical skills to do it a lot of times the point of the music is lost and I ' m here to blend both !
