About Me

Annahas been in the world of performing arts since age two when she began training in Ballet, Pointe, Irish Soft Shoe, Irish Hard Shoe, Jazz/Hip-Hop, contemporary, and lyrical dance. Also at the age of two, she began piano lessons which introduced her to the whole of music where she fell in love! Anna has been practicing (primarily classical and jazz) vocal music for over 17 years in award winning choral, musical theater, competition, and private instruction settings. She has participated in various honorable choral ensembles including Oregon All State choirs, NAfME All-Northwest Honor Choir, and worked as an ambassador for the Oregon Ambassadors of Music that travel the world participating in ensemble settings. Anna has personally been in private studio lessons for many and is currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music studying for her major in Music Education and possible minor in Choral Conducting. She has 6+ years of teaching experience as a theater-based educator/director for Children’s Educational Theatre (CET) in Salem, OR, and a dance instructor at both Danceworx Academy & Yoga Studio in Salem, OR and Creativities Studio in Boston, MA. Anna is excited to teach in a private studio setting and help students find their voice by gaining skills in proper vocal technique for their own unique voice while singing exciting and accessible repertoire! She strives to make a comfortable and accepting space for students to explore and thrive in the art of singing regardless if they are a beginner or advanced!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students should expect to come into a welcoming space where their voice will always be heard! We will utilize repertoire that is exciting and personal to each student and work on vocal techniques and the ability to express themselves through their music! Students are always welcome to come in with specific things they want to work on or we can figure it out along the way!

Formal Education:

Current Music Education Major at Berklee College of Music

Private Education:

5+ years of private vocal training

Performing Experience:

Performance in musical theater, orchestral ensembles, band ensembles, various choral ensembles, and solo recital style performance!

Experience Teaching:

6+ years of teaching experience between directing theater/musical theater casts, instructing various styles of dance classes, and teaching elementary based general music classes.
